Buddy Layman, a boy with a mental disability living in small town Indiana during the Great Depression, finally gets someone to believe in him when C.C. Showers, a handsome stranger with a hidden past ambles onto the scene. This intimate play about hard scrabble luck and hope details the quiet tragedy that can occur when people attempt to confront their fears, and reach for their dreams.

The 2 p.m. performance on March 18 features the understudy cast and tickets are free, but required.
