Ukulele Ensemble

A 10-week experience for musicians age 10 to adult

Musicians of all abilities are welcome to join this group opportunity. Come with what you know with an openness to learn and enjoy the making of music with others. We will explore a variety of music through the ages. Playing in parts along with various means of accompanying (chord strumming and finger-style) will be explored. Ensemble is open to guitar players as well.

Faculty 

Chris Ellicott has been teaching for 26 years. He provides lessons for all ages, from 7-years-old to adult, and instructs all levels, from beginning to advanced. Instruction in most styles is available with specialties in classical and popular music. Ellicott has a Bachelor of Arts in music from Baldwin Wallace University and an Associate of Arts in humanities/music from County College of Morris in New Jersey. He studied with Dr. Loris Chobanian. Ellicott attends The University of Cincinnati Classical Guitar Workshop each summer as a soloist and ensemble member. He performs frequently throughout the area as a soloist and as a member of the clarinet-and-guitar duo Sunday in the Park. He is a member of the Guitar Foundation of America.
