A musical experience for parents/caregivers and children - infants to children entering kindergarten in fall 2018

Parents know that even babies in the womb respond to music, and caregivers of very young children can see responses to music from baby's very first days. Most music programs, however, wait until a child is three- or four-years-old before engaging them in music, both physically and cognitively. BW is excited to offer MusicPlay, a music and movement experience for young children and their caregivers. In small groups, children learn to recognize musical phrases and develop body coordination through a diverse collection of songs, chants and movement activities. Children - and caregivers - will be physically and musically engaged in creative and fun experiences to begin a life-long musical journey.

Students will be placed in classes by the instructor prior to the first class. Placement is according to age, movement ability and previous MusicPlay experience.
