Last week was Spring Break, and the women’s golf team went to Phoenix, AZ. Let me tell you, the 80 and 90 degree weather was a welcome change from the 30s and 40s here in Berea.
We competed in a tournament against 5 other teams, all of which are ranked in the top 20 in the country. We ended up finishing in 4th overall, and we had a great time. First, we broke the school scoring record by shooting a 320 (breaking the record that we set two years ago). And I did my personal tournament best, shooting a 78-82. The courses we played were beautiful, and we even got to go see the 4th tallest fountain in the world in Scottsdale. Kinda random, but something to go see nevertheless.
Now that I’m back here in chilly Berea, I’m a freeze baby. In Arizona, when it was less than 70 we were wearing sweatpants and long sleeves. Lol. We have a tournament this weekend and the high is only supposed to be 40, so I have to get used to the cold again.
53 days till graduation!!!!
