What makes BW distinctive for me? One of BW’s best features is its belief in experiential learning – that means taking advantage of real-world opportunities for students to use the skills they learn in the classroom. Whether that’s study abroad, an internship or community service (or all three!), BW grads leave totally prepared for their next step.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? Where to begin? I love this area because we have a dense, urban center chock-full of culture and energy surrounded by miles of parks and a Great Lake. The opportunities to get involved and make a difference here are palpable. Cleveland, Berea and Baldwin Wallace make for an electric combination!

What is the most interesting place I have visited? I can’t pick just one. The Amalfi Coast, Chichen Itza and Mount Rainier National Park.

What am I currently reading in my spare time? The Economist

What song can’t I get out of my head right now? Britney’s “Toxic” has been in my head since 2003.

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW: I can trace many of my life’s accomplishments back to what I did in school. Students who are trying to decide where to attend college have a big decision to make. Thankfully, they don’t have to do it alone. As an admission counselor at BW, I am here to help and act as a guide whenever they feel confused, have questions or just need someone to talk to. BW is a place where students grow, thrive and succeed.
