My hometown: Cleveland

What makes Baldwin Wallace University distinctive? Baldwin Wallace provides a large-campus experience with the care, attention and access of a smaller institution. At Baldwin Wallace, you are joining a strong community committed to supporting and engaging students.

What is the most interesting place I have visited? Cuba, especially Cienfuegos, which is beautiful and less busy than Havana. Karamu House in Cleveland is also a treasure – the plays are wonderful.

Where would I still like to visit that I haven't already? I would love to see the pyramids in South America and Egypt, and a bit closer to home, southern Ohio’s old-growth forests.

What is my favorite movie? I love so many different genres that I don’t have a permanent favorite.

What am I currently reading in my spare time? As a recent grad I’m excited to read anything I can that isn’t assigned!

If I could meet any historical figure, who would I choose and why? Never ask a history major this – you’ll get a dissertation!

What song can’t I get out of my head right now? "Baby Shark" has been playing nonstop in my house. Also, anything from Sesame Street, closely followed by J. Balvin’s "Mi Gente."

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? We're a community. People know each other and support each other. We also have everything that makes bigger cities awesome transportation, great food, art, culture and sports. We have it all!

My message for students thinking about the value of college and BW: The value of college goes far beyond the degree – the journey to get your degree is just as important. At BW you have opportunities to work closely with faculty, get hands-on with experiential learning, network, travel, and build the foundation to becoming your most successful self.
