Alyson Campbell, YJ4L
“The first time I stepped foot on BW’s campus as a high school senior, I knew I had found a “home away from home”. I had been to dozens of colleges, but BW was where the people were the most genuine, the friendliest, and the most welcoming. I loved the location, and the ability to have the big city access, but with a small-town feel. Once I was a student, I was able to become a part of the Yellow Jacket family, and developed strong relationships with faculty, staff, fellow classmates, and future employers. I was able to understand first-hand the value of a BW education, and was confident as I approached graduation that I would be employable. Now, as an employee, I have come full circle to see what a role BW, my academic and social experience, and the people here have made in my life. I am fortunate to be working at my alma mater and I want to give other people the opportunity to have the same wonderful experience that was afforded to me.
I am a proud 2008 Baldwin Wallace Alumnus and have been working for the University since 2010. I was previously the women’s assistant basketball coach, and head women’s golf coach, as well as a former Lady Yellow Jacket basketball player. I also was fortunate to study abroad in Australia through BW Explorations in 2007 (and I highly recommend it to all students). I am also married to a BW alum, and we are definitely YJ4L! I am an avid Buffalo Bills and Duke basketball fan, and an overall sports enthusiast. I also enjoy fitness, shopping, and would love to travel more.
