Leadership Development Training

Our world is always changing. Part of this evolution includes facing new challenges and adapting with rapidly changing skills. Organizations are working in different capacities, and some are failing or succeeding – often in areas that were not in their original vision.

To keep up, leaders need to follow the advice of Marshall Goldsmith, "What got you here, won’t get you there," meaning that life is about continuous learning. The skills that helped you in your current position will need to evolve to make you better at what you do. If you’re interested in moving up the ladder, the skills you have now won't be the same ones to help you move up. Baldwin Wallace has a variety of programs designed for leadership development, beneficial for individuals and their organizations, with skill areas that match strategies, competencies, motivators, behaviors and cultures.

High-Performance Teams – 6 PDUs

Teamwork is essential. The silo approach to growth just does not work. It requires everyone on the team to be working, and accountability is key. Having a bunch of hardworking individuals isn’t enough. Chemistry isn’t necessarily the answer either. No matter what, it is the leader’s responsibility to bring the team together and lead them to victory. "The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork," by John C. Maxwell, was written so that it no longer matters who you are, what your background is, or what circumstance you face. You can count on these laws. In The 17 Laws of Teamwork workshop, we will guide your team through the keys of high performance. Course Outline

The Enlightened Leader – 12 PDUs

We know that there is a deeply felt tension between two opposing forces in organizations. The productivity and efficiency driven performance parameters in an increasingly resource constrained system appear to be in direct opposition to the spirit of compassion and motives of leaders. How can leaders be fully present and humanely accessible to their team when the pressures for efficiency and productivity threaten to make them machine-like? Based on a distinctive paradigmatic shift, the approach used in this seminar is derived from rather unexpected sources, namely, the overlooked treasures of the world’s greatest wisdom traditions and practical philosophers. The workshop will inspire managers and leaders in organizations to achieve breakthroughs in their effectiveness and consciousness, as well as help create a collective context of deep caring, compassion and emotional accessibility in serving others.
