Our world is always changing. Part of this evolution includes facing new challenges and adapting with rapidly changing skills. Organizations are working in different capacities, and some are failing or succeeding – often in areas that were not in their original vision.

To keep up, leaders need to follow the advice of Marshall Goldsmith, "What got you here, won’t get you there," meaning that life is about continuous learning. The skills that helped you in your current position will need to evolve to make you better at what you do. Change Management

This workshop will give all participants an understanding of how change is implemented and some tools for managing their reactions to change.

Leadership and Influence

Once you learn the techniques of true leadership and influence, you will be able to build the confidence it takes to take the lead.

Creative Problem Solving

This course will help you to understand problems and the creative problem-solving process. You will also learn to identify types of information to gather and key questions to ask in problem solving, the importance of defining a problem correctly and how to use four different problem definition tools. In addition, you will write concrete problem statements, use basic brainstorming tools to generate ideas for solutions, evaluate potential solutions against criteria, including cost/benefit analysis and group voting, and perform a final analysis to select a solution. Finally, through this course you will understand the roles that fact and intuition play in selecting a solution, the need to refine the shortlist and redefine it, how to identify the tasks and resources necessary to implement solutions as well as evaluate and adapt solutions to reality.

Coaching and Mentoring

This course focuses on how to better coach your employees to higher performance. Coaching is a process of relationship building and setting goals. How well you coach is directly related to how well you are able to foster a great working relationship with your employees through understanding them and strategic goal setting.

Conflict Resolution

Participants will learn crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame. If left unchecked or unresolved it can lead to lost production, absences, attrition and even lawsuits.

Critical Thinking

Upon successful completion of this course, students will boost their performance with an increase in their decision-making ability.

Leading for Growth: Executive and Team Leader Quick Start

The enlightened leadership program at Baldwin Wallace University includes a family of cutting-edge leadership courses that build on current and emerging trends in leadership education drawn from new developments and discoveries at centers of thought leadership globally.
