New Cohorts Forming Now

Baldwin Wallace University is currently accepting applications for the nursing cohort beginning in August (fall) 2019.

Admission Process

Admission to the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program is selective. This is a post-baccalaureate, second-degree program for adults seeking eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse.

The Accelerated BSN program enrolls a new cohort each August. Application review for each cohort may begin up to a year in advance, and candidates are evaluated on a rolling basis. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all college work. The accelerated BSN program welcomes students with degrees in any area, however students must have met specific science prerequisites to enroll in the nursing curriculum. It is also recommended that candidates have work or volunteer experience in healthcare or other helping professions. All aspects of an application are considered and used as the primary means for informing an admission decision.

Applicants who earned their degree in the United States must have attended a regionally accredited college or university. Candidates with degrees earned from foreign institutions must have their academic transcripts translated and verified by World Education Services (WES).
