Randall Kennedy

Dr. Randall Kennedy is an acclaimed author and a Professor of Law at Harvard University. He was a Rhodes Scholar and served as a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. Dr. Kennedy opens an important dialogue about the role race plays in America's social, political, cultural, and academic life.

Jonathan Kozol

Award winning author of Savage Inequalities, Jonathan Kozol defends public schools and condemns the vicious inequalities of education. Click on the link above to hear his lecture entitled "The Shame of the Nation: The Unacceptable Persistence of Unequal Segregated Education in America."

Paul Loeb

Author of the best-selling book, Soul of a Citizen: Living with Conviction During a Cynical Time, Mr. Loeb delves into the importance of community involvement. He explores the barriers that hold us back from getting involved and how ordinary citizens can find their voice.

Sister Helen

Sister Helen Prejean's life changed when she became the spiritual advisor to convicted death row inmate Patrick Sonnier. She later wrote about this experience in the Pulitzer Prize nominated book, Dead Man Walking that was made into a major motion picture starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn.  Sister Helen now educates people about the human consequences of the death penalty.
