For 21 years, Laura Webster has taught general and choral music for Early Childhood-12 at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Her specialty in vocal arts is movement in the choral classroom, which she has led and presented regionally and nationally on this topic. Webster was the creator and director of the St. Dominic Youth Choir for over a decade. Under her direction, the children's choir at Hathaway Brown School were the featured children's voices for Music is Elementary's Crooked River Choral Publishing Company audio materials.

Along with colleague Jenny Burnett, Webster founded the Crooked River Ensemble, a select instrumental and dance ensemble of children in grades 3-6 throughout Northeast Ohio. Crooked River Ensemble was selected to perform at multiple Orff Schulwerk Conferences nationally and at a variety of Cleveland venues including the Cleveland Orchestra.

Together with celebrated cellist, Martha Baldwin of the Cleveland Orchestra, as well as history teacher, Libby Stineman, Webster created the curriculum, History Through a Musical Lens. Partnered with Facing History, this curriculum brought new breadth and depth to the standard 10th grade history curriculum at Hathaway Brown and was a featured session for the Global Education Benchmark Group Conference in 2017. Webster has Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly Certification and has taught Fine Arts in Early Childhood at Lake Erie College. Webster teaches movement for all three levels of Orff certification, is a national and regional clinician and has been published in the Orff Echo. A vocalist and rhythm guitarist, she performs regularly with her Celtic fusion group, "Tweed" at venues such as Nighttown and The Music Box.
