Ricky Volante is cofounder of the Professional Collegiate League (PCL) and an attorney at The Volante Law Firm, LLC.

He joined BW to teach Legal Issues in Sport Management, which focuses on issues and interpretations of the law as they apply to sports and recreation.

Prior to BW, Volante has held several positions with educational institutions. He was the executive director at the Great Lakes Sports and Entertainment Law Academy, and a sports law course consultant for numerous institutions including Ave Maria School of Business, University of Miami School of Law and Harvard Law School.

Outside of the classroom, Volante serves as the chief executive officer of the PCL, where he oversees the day-to-day operations and is responsible for its operational growth.

He has primarily focused on legal issues related to professional and amateur sports, film and television, music, business formation and regulation, intellectual property, digital media and the internet during his career.

Ricky also cofounded Sixth City Sports & Entertainment, a sport and film consultancy based in Cleveland, Ohio, and held positions at SPIRE Institute, an Olympic training site and the Mid-American Conference.
