Dr. Robert Stinson earned a B.A. in history from Allegheny College 1964 and a doctorate from Indiana University in 1971. He also studied history at the University of Manchester. He has taught modern American history, urban history, introduction to the humanities, historiography, film and writing. Stinson’s books are in journalism history, medical ethics and the history of historical writing, but he has also been a newspaper columnist, a classical music radio broadcaster and, recently, has published a murder mystery, “Love and Death on Public Radio” (2014).
