Jim Smith, PCC, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an executive and life coach, international speaker, author, and culture change strategist. His company, The Executive Happiness Coach, is a global provider of executive coaching and personal and workplace transformation services. His passion is to create a happier world and workplace, one leader at a time. 

Jim spent over 20 years in the corporate world where he held executive roles in sales, marketing, finance, operations and human resources, before founding his own firm. He has coached leaders from twenty-seven countries and six continents to achieve greater leadership success. His clients include middle market and Fortune 500 companies in the financial, service, healthcare and manufacturing sectors as well as non-profit, government, and educational organizations. 

Jim holds an Master of Business Administration in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in management and finance from John Carroll University. He earned his PCC (professional certified coach) designation through the International Coach Federation. He also holds a certification as a senior human resources professional through both HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management. 

Jim is a past two-term president of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management, and in 2015 he was named a Lifetime Achievement honoree. He has served as an adjunct MBA instructor for BW since 2003.
