Dr. Lee Pickler has been a full-time faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University’s School of Business for over 33 years. He is also currently an adjunct instructor at the College of Business at Nova Southeastern University.

Since 2000, Pickler has been increasingly involved with research, presentations and an exchange program with a team of Japanese healthcare professionals. This work has included an internship program, healthcare forums in Japan and tours of the United States for the purpose of visiting healthcare organizations to learn best practices. His research has focused on the demographics and healthcare infrastructure of the United States and of Japan. This work with Japan has increased to the extent that it has been the sole focus of his applied research for the past several years. Once a year, Lee participates in the Japan American Healthcare Forum. He facilitates tours of Japanese health care professionals in the United States and Canada. Additionally, he pairs Japanese interns with American physicians so the interns can learn current practices and procedures. He also consults with hospitals in Japan on various management practices and delivers management professional development presentations.
