Robbi Paynther

Robbi Paynther is currently an Assistant Professor of Education at Baldwin Wallace University. She has taught School Curriculum, Assessment of Teaching and Learning, Educational Studies, and Multicultural Seminars. She came to BW as an Adjunct Professor two years ago. Before coming to BW Professor Paynther taught at Kent State University. She is a graduate of Kent State University and is currently working on her dissertation in the area of Multicultural Education and Conflict Resolution. Professor Paynther is a certified classroom teacher (1-8) and has taught in Ohio, Florida, and Australia. She has her Reading Certification (K-12) and worked as a Reading Tutor at Sts. Joseph and John in Strongsville. Professor Paynther has worked for a number of years as a Management Consultant, who specializes in Leadership Training, as a Master Facilitator, for John Gray Associates. She believes future educators should have a passion for teaching. Additionally, travel is essential for educators to bring multiple perspectives into the classroom to prepare students for a global society. When Professor Paynther is not in the classroom you can find her on the tennis courts with her three teenage daughters.
