Rachael Palermo is a lecturer at Baldwin Wallace University. She has taught and choreographed for dance studios, theatres and schools in Ohio for over 15 years. She is a former studio owner/director and is a member of the National Dance Education Organization. Palermo holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The University of Akron where she performed with The University of Akron Dance Company. She went on to New York University for graduate studies and received her Master of Arts in Teaching Dance in Higher Education and the Professions. Her research interests include administration, leadership and strategic planning in higher education dance programs.
