My primary field of work is done in extinguishing behaviors. I work with students who are interested in using rats as models for extinguishing behaviors such as, fear, addiction and compulsion. I also work with students on the effects of hormones and diet on memory using rodent models. I am available to help students learn how to use behavioral equipment, write programs for the equipment and organize their data. Additionally, I teach students about working with rodents, including how to handle them, give injections and swab for estrus cycles.
