Dr. Kristofer Neslund is an Ohio certified public accountant and a member of the Oregon bar.

Neslund was a Fulbright Scholar for five months at the University of Iceland in 2015.

He is co-author of a leading legal environment of business textbook, "Law, Business and Society" (McGraw-Hill), as well as the principal author of "Taxation of Business Entities" (LexisNexis). He has over 40 articles and presentations focusing on taxation, the accounting profession and securities regulation.

Neslund was president of the Tri-State Academy of Legal Studies in Business and president of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Region Four.

He directed the graduate tax programs at the University of San Diego and St. John Fisher College, and was associate dean of the Schools of Accounting and Taxation at Golden Gate University. Neslund has been a visiting scholar at the University of New Hampshire and Roger Williams University law schools.

During a year-long sabbatical, he co-taught a course on corporate implosions for the law faculty of Europa Universität–Viadrina in Germany, delivered a course on U.S. taxation for Latrobe University's law school in Australia and offered a graduate class on accounting scandals at the New Zealand University of Technology (UNITEC).

Before returning to academia, Neslund was the chief financial officer and general counsel of a multi-state telecommunications company, as well as a law firm partner specializing in taxation and the advisement of entrepreneurs.
