Dr. Kris Neslund is professor of accounting and law. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Ohio and a member of the Oregon bar.

Neslund was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Iceland in 2015.

He is a co-author of "Law, Business and Society" (McGraw-Hill), as well as the principal author of "Taxation of Business Entities" (LexisNexis). He has over 30 articles and presentations focusing on taxation, the accounting profession and securities regulation.

Neslund was president of the Tri-State Academy of Legal Studies in Business and president of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Region Four.

Neslund directed the graduate tax programs at the University of San Diego and St. John Fisher College and was associate dean of the schools of taxation and accounting at Golden Gate University. He was a visiting scholar at the law schools of the University of New Hampshire and Roger Williams University. During a year-long sabbatical, Kris co-taught a course on corporate implosions for the law faculty of Europa Universität–Viadrina in Germany, delivered a course on U.S. taxation for Latrobe University's law faculty in Australia, and offered a graduate class on accounting scandals at Unitec Institute of Technology in New Zealand.

Neslund was the chief financial officer and general counsel of a multi-state telecommunications company. He also practiced law, specializing in taxation and the advisement of entrepreneurs.
