I spent the first 17 years of my life in the Bronx, N.Y. and moved south to North Carolina to attend college. The next six years were spent in New England in the Boston area where I worked as administrative assistant at a university.  From there, I spent a year in Munster, Germany and then moved to Richmond, Indiana where I taught elementary school for many years. In 2001, I moved to Olmsted Falls. After substitute teaching for two years in local schools and serving as a college supervisor for Baldwin Wallace University, I was fortunate to be offered the position as advisor to the initial licensure and license+masters program at BW! Since I was a teacher and a student while raising a family, I understand the home/work/life situations of the nontraditional adult students with whom I work. Most students changing careers have interesting stories, and I enjoy sharing this part of their journey with them.
