Michelle Gibson is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University with a specialty in psychiatry and mental health.

Following her graduate training, Gibson completed the 2016-2017 PMHNP residency program through the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System and Boston College. She has extensive experience working with patients with depression, PTSD and she is a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse.

During her undergraduate studies, Gibson completed an independent study of the healthcare needs of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) veterans, which won her the Psychiatric Nursing Award from Ursuline College. Michelle’s passion for helping veterans stemmed from her own military experience. Prior to nursing Michelle served in the United States Army Reserve for six years and deployed with the 706th Transportation Company to Iraq in 2004 where she hauled fuel as a heavy vehicle operator.
