Shannon B. Fujimura has been involved in nearly every aspect of theatre from performance to directing to management. She has been seen onstage in shows such as "Cabaret," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Arsenic and Old Lace" and the Ohio premier of "Children of Eden" to name a few. She has also been featured in multiple industrial films, an episode of "Unsolved Mysteries," the short film "Coffee and Donuts" and the award-winning independent film "Waxing Gibbous."

Fujimura has worked as a stage manager in theaters around Northeast Ohio including Porthouse Theatre, Cain Park, Great Lakes Theater Festival and the Tony Award-winning Cleveland Playhouse. She also served as a dance captain for the Great Lakes Theater Festival production of "Love, Langston" and as a production manager for Cain Park. She directed the Buckeye Theater debut production of "Honk!" as well as a production of "The Sunshine Boys."

At BW, Fujimura has led multiple Laban-style movement workshops for professor emeritus Jack B. Winget. She was also the movement choreographer for Winget’s original production "A Nightmare of Crime."

Fujimura looks forward to developing the stage management program at BW as part of the collaborative degree programs offered. She is also a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
