Dr. Jeffrey Covington, assistant professor of English, was trained as a scholar of twentieth-century British literature and culture. His teaching interests include modern and contemporary British literature, modernism, the history of the novel, war and literature, cultural studies and literary theory. He is currently working on a book project entitled “Security Breach: Information Wars and the Literary Imagination.” His scholarship and teaching approach how fiction problematizes our understanding of – and relationship with – history. Covington is also the faculty advisor to BW’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.
