Dr. Terry Brizz graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Doctor of Management and earned a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. His doctoral research was published in The Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies.

Since 2004, Brizz has been an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Baldwin Wallace University teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Before coming to Baldwin Wallace University, he taught entrepreneurship courses at Case Western Reserve University.  

Brizz has extensive entrepreneurial experience and is currently the president and founder of Galaxy Balloons Inc., a twenty five-year-old company. He has been involved with three different start-up companies and has acquired five other companies throughout his career. He serves on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations and privately held companies.

Brizz earned both the 1997 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the 1998 State of Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
