Dr. Kerry A. Bebie serves as faculty advisor for the health and physical education majors club and is the area program coordinator for the health and physical education major. She also oversees the athletic coaching minor and the family studies minor. Bebie holds memberships in the Society of Health and Physical Education (SHAPE America), Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (OAHPERD) and the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE). She is also an associate trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance. Bebie formerly taught at John Carroll University, was also the assistant women’s basketball coach and Notre Dame College of Ohio, serving as their head women’s volleyball coach. Her pedagogical expertise is in the areas of P-12 physical education teaching methods; historical, philosophical and curricular foundations of physical education; principles of coaching; and psychology of coaching.
