Dr. Joyce Banjac is the president of the JAB Group, a company specializing in organizational learning and development, and an adjunct Business School lecturer with Baldwin Wallace University. She is an entrepreneurial educator with a powerful mission: to unleash individual and organizational potential by empowering learning, facilitating change, neutralizing conflict, fostering communication, building collaborative mindsets and galvanizing teams toward strategic goals. Her research on inter-organizational collaboration is published in several international academic journals.

In her previous leadership roles as interim university president, vice-president of academics/students and dean with Myers University, Cuyahoga Community College and Jefferson College, Banjac led organizations through tumultuous times, inspiring faculty and staff to collaborate and embark upon transformative change initiatives. As an entrepreneur in the technology space, Banjac founded several technology and consulting businesses. Her firm, Business Smarts Inc., was recognized by Hewlett Packard and Compaq Computer as a top reseller and a recipient of national awards. She subsequently sold her corporation to a private investor.      

Banjac holds a Bachelor of Arts in business/economics, a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University (formerly Baldwin-Wallace College), and a doctorate in postsecondary education from The University of Akron. She has been acknowledged by Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education for successfully completing its Institute for Management and Leadership in Education residency program. Joyce is affiliated with Lakeshore Educational and Counseling Services where she focuses on communication, collaboration, change and leadership research and presentations.
