July 13 - July 18, 2008 (Sunday evening thru Friday afternoon)

Develop your performance skills in all aspects of musical theater. A team of B-W faculty, representing the disciplines of voice, dance/choreography and theater, will instruct you in voice, stage combat, repertoire coaching, acting, improvisation, dance and movement, using B-W's outstanding theater, dance and music facilities. You will conclude your session with a videotaped performance utilizing all the skills you have developed during the week.
This is a residential camp. Cost is $270. Students will stay in a B-W dormitory and take meals in the Union Dining Hall. Students are supervised by B-W student assistants who are majoring in music theater.

Janiece Kelley-Kiteley
Currently teaches: Modern Dance I, II, III, IV, Jazz I, II, III, IV, Tap Dance I, II, III, IV, and Ballet I, II, III, IV, Dance in the Musical Theatre, Improvisation and Choreography. Prof. Kelley Kiteley was a founding member/dancer of the Repertory Project, a Cleveland modern dance company and has served as a dance panelist on the Ohio Arts Council and the Indiana Arts Council. Having retired from performing several years ago, attention and time are now spent on choreography, primarily in the field of musical theatre. Most recently her work as been seen on the stages of the Cleveland Play House, Cain Park, and Berea Summer Theatre.
Dr. Jack B. Winget is a full time professor in the Communication and Theatre Department at Baldwin-Wallace College. He has earned an Undergraduate and Masters degree from Bowling Green State University and his Ph. D. from Kent State University. A Cleveland area Director and Actor, Jack had produced and performed at Baldwin-Wallace College Theatre, Berea Summer Theatre, the Beck Center for the Performing Arts and Clague Playhouse. A student of the Second City founder, Paul Sills, he works with both performance and rehearsal improvisation. Dr. Winget teaches in theatre and communication. His areas of specialty are Acting, Directing, American Theatre History, and Interpersonal Communication.
Joanne Uniatowski
Lecturer in Voice, holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with George Vassos. She received a Master of Music degree from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Akron. She also holds a language diploma from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Dr. Uniatowski has performed operatic roles with Lyric Opera Cleveland, Cleveland Concert Opera and Opera Circle. Equally at home as a soloist, Dr. Uniatowski has performed with The Cleveland Orchestra Educational Programs, Mansfield Symphony, PAND (Cleveland), Suburban Symphony, The Singer’s Club of Cleveland, Choral Arts Society, Heights Chamber Orchestra, University Circle Choral and various local choral organizations including Chagrin Valley Choral Union and Medina County Chorus.
