Strosacker Hall - Services Provided

SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COLLEGE UNION

The College Union located in Strosacker Hall is the campus community center where you can study, buy books, shoot billiards, get involved with student groups, meet with friends for a snack, attend a lecture and much more.  The College Union is the hub of College activities.

On the lower level of the Union, you will find the CyberCafe', the Bookstore, the Sandstone Conference Center and the Quarry Room (a large meeting rom).  The lower level also houses the offices of major student organizations including : the Student Senate offices and chambers, Exponent newspaper, Grindstone yearbook, the Mill (literary magazine), Campus Entertainment Productions, and the Commuter Activity Board.On the main floor, you will find the main dining hall or ballroom (aside from serving meals during the day, this area is used at night for many of the College's large programs), the Service Desk, the Jacket Junction general store, the Gridiron Cafe', the Colony Room (which serves a lunch buffet), several meeting rooms, the Food Service Office, the ID office, and an automatic teller machine (ATM).

Finally, the second floor of the Union houses the administrative offices, the scheduling office, the Director of Food Service office, and WBWC, the College radio station.  This floor also houses the Student Life Center, which includes the office of Student Activities, Community Outreach, Explorations and Study Abroad, Greek Life and CARE (Center for Alcohol and Related Educational Issues).

Meeting rooms in the College Union are available to all Baldwin-Wallace students, faculty, and staff for College related use.  To reserve a room, call the Scheduling Secretary, Mary Henry (ext. 2354).
