Conference Residence Hall Living

Many conference groups enjoy the return to a college atmosphere with its emphasis on education and learning as the perfect environment for their conference participants.

All residence halls feature:

  • Laundry facilities and vending machines in each hall
  • Free wireless Internet access
  • Provided for each person per room are a twin XL bed, desk and chair, closet or wardrobe, and drawer space for clothing
  • Standard trash can and a recycle bin in each room 

Ernsthausen Hall 

Ernsthausen houses approximately 195 people in double and single rooms, 1 male and 1 female restroom & shower area per wing, and features air-conditioning, 1 laundry area per floor, two vending areas and an elevator. The main lounge features a two story cathedral ceiling with a gas fireplace.  There are also two more lounges on the upper floor, as well as lounges at the end of each of the eight hallways. The building was the first residence hall in Ohio with geothermal heating and cooling, and remains one of the few in existence today.

Carmel Living/Learning Center

Carmel houses approximately 138 in a double and single suite-style rooms:  a two-person room connected to neighboring two-person room through shared restroom & shower area. Amenities include: lounges on both ends of each floor, classrooms in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd floors, and a common area kitchen located on the east end on the first floor.
Davidson Commons 

Davidson Commons houses approximately 154 in 4- and 6-person suite-style rooms: include Davidson, Klein and Saylor Halls.  In addition to the standard furniture found in our other halls, these suites also contain a dining table with four chairs and two sofa style chairs.  Further, 4-person suites each contain a loveseat and end table while the 6-person suites each contain a couch and coffee table. Other amenities include: lounges and common areas kitchen located in each hall.  

Constitution Hall – East and West 
(non air-conditioned)

Both Constitution East and West hold approximately 104 people in each hall, and consist primarily of double rooms with a single gender restroom & shower area per floor. There are two lounges in each section as well as outdoor recreational space behind the building, including a basketball court. 

Heritage Hall 
(non air-conditioned)

Heritage is our largest residence hall on campus and holds approximately 260 people. Heritage Hall is divided into five sections and consists primarily of double rooms with a few singles and triples. Heritage contains a kitchenette, four section lounges which are used as social and study spaces and a large main lounge.

Other non air-conditioned traditional-style campus residence halls similar to those listed above may be available as well.
