What is your favorite quote?
"The universe will unfold as it should... Don't be afraid to take a chance, be calculated, but college is a safe environment to stretch yourself and learn."
What was your biggest mistake as a first year student? What did you learn from that experience?
Not taking any chances my first year. I learned there is quite a lot more to college than just learning about accounting! There are boundless opportunities at BW, you won't need to take them all, but definitely try a few!
How did you choose your major?
I have a rare story. I come from a family of accountants, investing, and accounting has always interested me and BW only strengthened that. Moreover, the classes here enabled me to try new things and gauge which I could be happiest with.
What has been you best experience at BW so far?
Picking one experience is probably impossible. I'll say that BW has provided me with the greatest opportunity I could imagine. From the people I have met, friends made, challenges conquered and lessons learned, it all goes hand in hand.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
It really depends what mood I'm in, and that's what is great about BW. I can find a place to enjoy no matter what, and they are all just as great as the other. I'm a big fan of the Student Life Center (SLC) though.
What movie star would play the role of you in a movie? Why?
Will Smith, all time favorite actor. I really don't have a doppelgänger, so why not get played by the someone you would want to watch!
What was the best advice given to you by your parents or family members during your first year?
Fail, fail often, fail onward... but do not fail my class. That was from one of my professors and it still rings true today. He followed that with "Don't be afraid of failure, your effort will always bring you success!"
Final Word:
College is your time, use it well. Take risks, and you will be rewarded, if you fail, someone will be there to help, and always ask if you need anything!
