Welcome to the Baldwin Wallace Family! After paying your deposit, follow these steps to get started at BW.

Get Started - BEFORE Your Orientation Session

______    You will receive a letter in the mail containing your online login username and password.
                    This is also your BW email address. This is how you will login to fill out your paperwork.

______     Fill out ALL forms in the new Student Orientation forms list.
                    The first 3 forms must be filled out PRIOR to your Orientation & are time sensitive.

                    ______ Orientation Form

                    ______ Schedule Preference Form

                    ______ Housing Form (if Commuting you must fill out the Residency Exemption Form

                    ______ Family Survey

                    ______ Health History/Immunization Forms

                    ______ College Credit/AP/PSEO forms (if applicable)

______     Get your Finances in Order

If you have  applied for financial aid by completing a FAFSA, review the materials that the Financial Aid Office sends with your Financial Aid Award Letter so you know what you need to do next. Not all financial aid is automatic! You need to have a plan for your fall semester billing statement, which will be mailed by the Billing Office (also known as the Bursar’s Office or Cashier’s Office) in August. The bill will be due at the end of the first week of classes, so ideally, you should have your financial aid in place by mid-July. Need a reminder of what you should do? ______     Send in any remaining transcripts

______     Login to your BW E-mail - Your email is the same login & password you used to fill out forms.
                    Orientation and other BW offices will send e-mail to your BW address.
                    It is important for you to get used to checking your e-mail several times per day.

                    ______ Join the Class of 2017 Facebook Group

______    Register your Parents/Family Members for Orientation as well!

______    Prepare for your Orientation Session

______    Attend Orientation
                    You will see your date posted online in WebExpress where you filled out the forms.
                    We will also mail information to you.

Planning to Live on Campus?

______    Receive your Housing Assignment - This will happen at the end of June.

______    Get in Contact with your Roommate(s)

Planning to Commute?

______    Get familiar with services specially designed for commuter students

After Your Orientation Session

______    Order your Textbooks online - if you did not already do so at Orientation

______    Stay connected to new friends you made at Orientation

______    Mark your calendar for Weekend of Welcome! Also known as W.O.W.

______    Affirm your awareness of BW's rules and regulations in your Student Handbook

______    Continue to familiarize yourself with Blackboard

______    Review ways to get involved on campus

______    Continue to Check your E-Mail! (It really is important! Trust us!)
