First-Year Student Summer Orientation
Summer Orientation is an exciting opportunity to become more familiar with B-W's programs and people just when it can help the most - in the "calm" of the summer. You will meet current students who serve as Summer Orientation Leaders, register for classes and be able to experience a day and a half of college life. It will include helpful information about the upcoming college experience, interaction with B-W students, faculty, and staff, and shared time with other new students who will join you in the Fall of 2008. You will stay in one of the First-Year areas and get a sampling of college food and college fun! Whether you are selecting to be a resident or commuter student in the fall, you are required to participate in the summer orientation and spend the night on campus.
A Family Summer Orientation Program provides an overview of the core curriculum, information about financial aid and billing, sessions about student opportunities and services, and answers to any other questions. At times, student and family schedules overlap, allowing opportunities to "touch base." And at other times, students and families will follow parallel schedules. This purposeful programming will provide specific sessions geared to the needs of each audience.
