Student Life

A strong community
Builds strong futures

Originally called May Day, the event celebrated the crowning of the May Queen.
It included picnics, maypole and folk dances on the green, fraternity floats and athletic contests.
When the College transitioned to semesters in 1999, the event was renamed April Reign.

April Reign 2011

April Reign

A Baldwin-Wallace tradition, today April Reign celebrates the arrival of spring and warm weather on campus. Fraternities, sororities and student groups display the spirit of competition through fun challenges that build teamwork and blow off some steam before finals. Held on campus and at the nearby Metroparks and Coe Lake, the event is an annual favorite among students and the B-W community.
