Area Coordinators
The Area Coordinator is a full-time professional staff member for the Office of Residence Life, within the Division of Student Affairs, and reports to the Director of Residence Life. The Area Coordinator is responsible for a residential area approximately 800 students, supervision of 4 graduate Hall Directors and 30-35 Resident Assistants, coordination of staff development and training, staff recruitment, residence hall governance, and programming.

Todd Heft Todd has been at B-W since June 2006. Originally from the Detroit area, Todd earned both his B.S. (2000 - Interpersonal Communication) and M.A. (2003 - Counseling/College Student Development) from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. After receiving his M.A., Todd worked as a Hall Director at Ferris State University for three years, moving to Berea in 2006 to assume his current position. Todd is a proud inductee of the Eagle Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. Todd has served on the executive boards of the Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers and the Northeast Ohio Housing Officers, and is currently serving as the Technology Chair for the Ohio College Personnel Association. He enjoys camping, reading, watching movies, and is a Star Wars fanatic!!! However, most of his time outside of work is spent with his wife and two-year old son. |
