Graduate Assistants

Most Graduate Assistants at Baldwin-Wallace College are Hall Directors for the Residence Life Office and also are expected to complete an internship assignment within the Division of Student Affairs in one of several offices on campus that provide extended opportunities to interact with the community, develop leadership skills, and participate in the daily workings of specialty groups on campus. Some of our positions like the Student-Athlete Affairs position are uniquely structured in that this does not include hall assignments.
 

Please note that we have completed our recruitment and hiring of GA's for the 2010-2011 academic year.  We will resume recruitment and hiring efforts for the 2012-2013 beginning in January of 2012.

Graduate Assistants begin their contracts on  August 1st.  There are no vacancies offered mid-year.

Determining Hall Director assignments will be based on size of hall and specific experiences and career aspirations of each applying candidate.
