OCO Super Saturday Coordinators
What are OCO Super Saturdays?
OCO Super Saturdays are onetime service projects occuring on select Saturdays during the academic year. They are a great way to explore service and learn about local organizations without making a big time commitment.
Role of OCO Super Saturday Coordinators:
OCO Super Saturday Coordinators are responsible for all aspects of coordinating 2-4 OCO Super Saturday projects per semester. Two student coordinators work together to determine the service site, recruit participants, lead the project on the day of the event, and facilitate reflection. The coordinators meet with the Assistant Director 1-2 times per month for planning purposes. Like all OCO Leadership Team Members, OCO Super Saturday Coordinators are also expected to attend OCO Leadership Retreats (one per semester) and assist the Special Projects Team with special events such as Saturday of Service, Gift Drive, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and so on.
