Mila P. Cooper is the Director of Community Outreach and Service Learning. Mila earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies and the Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Currently in her 6th year at B-W, she has worked in higher education for the past 18 years. Originally from Philadelphia, Mila comes from a very large family and is married to the Rev. Gerald A. Cooper. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Nia Patrice and Mariah Nicole. An ordained minister, Mila serves as the pastor of Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church in Maple Heights. She enjoys traveling with her family, reading, sports, and photography. Mila is an advocate of community service, experiential learning and social justice issues.

Julie Bishop is the Assistant Director of Community Outreach. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College. Currently in her second year as Assistant Director, she has had a longstanding history of involvement in OCO both as an undergraduate student and a Graduate Assistant. Julie has also worked as a Community Support Specialist and HIV Prevention Educator at Recovery Resources in Cleveland. Originally from Massillon, Julie lives in Cleveland with her husband, Rob. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with friends and family. Julie is passionate about service, education and social justice related issues.

Clifford Powell is the Graduate Assistant in the Office of Community Outreach. Cliff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from Baldwin-Wallace College. Currently in his second year as a Graduate Assistant, Cliff previously served two years as an Americorps*VISTA for the Barbara Byrd-Bennett Scholars Program at Baldwin-Wallace College. Cliff serves as the live-in Hall Director for the B-W owned Archwood House, located in the Cleveland's historic Brooklyn Centre neighborhood. He is a native Clevelander who enjoys movies, watching and playing sports, and video games.
