Mila P. Cooper is the Director of Community Outreach and Service Learning. Mila earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies and the Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She also has a Master of Divinity degree from Payne Theological Seminary and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management and leadership. Currently in her 10th year at B-W, she has worked in higher education for over 20 years. Originally from Philadelphia, Mila comes from a very large family and is married to Gerald A. Cooper. They are the grateful parents of two daughters, Nia Patrice and Mariah Nicole. Also an ordained minister, Mila is active in ministry and enjoys traveling with her family, reading, sports, and photography. Mila is an advocate of community service, experiential learning and social justice.

Julie Bishop is the Assistant Director of Community Outreach. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College. Currently in her fifth year as Assistant Director, she has had a longstanding history of involvement in OCO both as an undergraduate student and a Graduate Assistant. Originally from Massillon, Julie lives in Cleveland with her husband, Rob. They recently welcomed a son, Abraham, to their family. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with friends and family. Julie is passionate about service, education and social justice related issues.
