Big Brothers Big Sisters Weekly Service Program
Mondays 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national organization that has been impacting the lives of young people for more than one hundred years. Their mission is to "help children reach their potential through one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth."
Baldwin-Wallace College's Office of Community Outreach (OCO) is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters to provide 10-20 children from the Berea City School District with mentors each year. B-W student "Bigs" are matched one-to-one with "Littles" with whom they spend time each Monday afternoon. Activities include helping with homework as well as some group games and crafts. The pairs also have free time together, which many of them spend in the Lou Higgins Recreation Center or the Union.
