OCO College Explorations
The Office of Community Outreach's staff and students are pleased to announce that we will are serving the community in a new way in 2011-2012!
The newly formed OCO College Explorations Team (CET) is offering the opportunity for groups of middle school aged students to visit B-W and learn about college! The idea is to expose students to a college campus at a young age to encourage them to see college as a possibility and start preparing now.
Visits include a question and answer session with a panel of college students, a brief presentation on preparing for college, and a campus tour. Groups are also welcome to bring sack lunches to eat in our Union or to purchase food through our Dining Services (CET will assist with arrangements).
At this time, visits are limited to pre-determined dates and times. Please contact us to see what dates are open. The schedule is as follows:
| 11:30-11:50 a.m. | Why college? What can I do now to prepare? |
| 11:50 a.m.-12:15 p.m. | Q & A with panel of college students |
| 12:15-1:00 p.m. | Campus Tour led by College Explorations Team members |
| 1:00-?: | Lunch |
