What is Alternative Break?
Alternative Break is an intense service experience during one of BW's breaks. It is an opportunity to serve with fellow BW students, make new friends, make a difference, and travel to another part of the country and even the world. The focus on Alternative Break trips is direct service, reflection and education.
The Issues
The focus of Alternative Summer Break 2013 will be children's literacy issues in the Dominican Republic. BW volunteers will serve with Outreach 360 and work directly with children in learning centers and schools.
