The 2008 ATB group traveled to the nation's capital. They served meals at SOME (So Others May Eat) and the Capital Area Food Bank. The group also volunteered at the Community for Creative Non-Violence, the largest shelter in the country. Kim Berry, the 2008 ATB Site Leader, incorporated an educational aspect while on the trip as well. She worked with the National Coalition for the Homeless to coordinate a panel discussion for the ATB participants. Click here for more ATB pictures.
