Pre-arrival Information
Office of International Student Services prepares pre-arrival package for incoming students. In the package, information such as orientation, frequently asked questions, airport pick up procedures. etc are included.
Coordinate Campus Housing
Housing on campus is available for both graduate and undergraduate students. Our office also helps you get your room assignment and keys to your room before you come to campus. In addition, after you are picked up at the airport, ambassadors will help you move directly into your dorm.
- If you are a graduate student, please send your housing application to Residence Life along with you housing deposit in the form of a check or money order for $150 as soon as you are accepted. Please DO NOT wait until you get your visa! You can also apply for your housing online at http://www.bw.edu/stulife/reslife/ OR fax your housing application to 440-826-3730. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact Ms. Karen Sency at 440-826-8161or at ksency@bw.edu to confirm your housing before you leave your country.
- If you are an undergraduate, apply for housing by completing the housing application sent by the Office of Admission and send it to the address listed on the application form, along with your New Student Deposit of $200 in the form of a check or money order, made payable to Baldwin-Wallace College. If you have any questions about your room assignment, please contact the Office of Residence Life at 440-826-8161.
Please NOTE that housing cannot be guaranteed without receiving your housing application and housing deposit.

- If you are NOT able to get a visa after you apply for your housing, contact Residence Life and the deposit will be refunded to you.
Free Airport Pick-up Service
Our office provides FREE airport pick-up service :
Please contact Ms. Rong Song Director of International Student Services at rsong@bw.edu and Ms. Lurline Brotherson at lbrother@bw.edu ,or call them at 440-826-2134, provide them with the date, arrival time, airline and flight number at least three business days before you leave your country. An International Student Ambassador will meet you at the Luggage Claim Area of the airport and take you to where you will be living.
Where is the Luggage Claim Area at Cleveland Hopkins Airport
The Luggage Claim Area is on the first floor. Get a cart (you need to have $1.50 in change to get the cart) and pick up your luggage. Please look for the sign with your full name on it, International student ambassadors will meet you at this area. They will wear ambassador shirts with Baldwin-Wallace College on it.
