  • Educating our brothers/sisters and ourselves on how to live and lead healthy lifestyles,

  • Living as an example of a loyal citizen with good, and moral character,

  • Offering a positive atmosphere with team support.

Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol (GAMMA) is the peer education group of the fraternity and sorority community. GAMMA tries to educate members of the the Greek community on how to live and lead healthy lifestyles through informative programming, risk management standards, and other means that seek to educate fraternities or sororities on being responsible individuals and chapters. GAMMA is responsible for planning events such as non-alcoholic socials, workshops on responsible behavior, and special events that address critical issues on the BW campus. A few of our annual events include:

National Hazing Prevention Week

GAMMA, in collaboration with Heritage Hall and Certified Peer Educators, acted out potential hazing scenarios called "In the Dark" in order to educate fraternity and sorority members on the dangers of hazing during National Hazing Prevention Week 2007.

4-Square Tournament

GAMMA's annual 4-Square tournament not only provides BW students a fun and healthy alternative to drinking on during the week, but also raised is helping to knock-out hunger this year.

Sex on the Beach

GAMMA, in collaboration with Heritage Hall, sponsored "Sex on the Beach" a fun, and interactive event to educate fraternity and sorority members on how to make healthy and responsible choices during spring break.
