GLBT Services

Safe Space Program

The gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) Safe Space Program at Baldwin Wallace University is a visible sign of the institutions commitment to creating and sustaining an environment of support, respect and dignity for all members of the campus community.

A Safe Space at Baldwin Wallace University is an office, classroom or department in which members of the faculty, staff and administration confirm their support and affirmation of the GLBT community by displaying a Safe Space sticker.

Areas on campus displaying Safe Space stickers are easily identifiable places for GLBT individuals to turn and be assured of understanding and support.

At this time, nearly 120 individuals and departments on campus participate in the Safe Space Program.

Safe Spaces are identified by displaying the Safe Space sticker displayed here.
