Student Activities

LifeSpan Fitness Group Members

Jennifer Borkowski is a senior double majoring in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and Education and minoring in Psychology. Currently, she is working as a personal trainer for the BW recreation center and at Bally Total Fitness. She is also a member of the Pre-PT/Exercise Science and Psychology clubs.

John Owen is a senior Exercise Science and Health Promotion & Education Major. He is a current Co-Vice President of the Pre-Physical Therapy & Exercise Club.  He hopes to attend graduate school for Exercise Science next fall.

Alie Landaw is a senior majoring in Exercise Science.  She is currently the Strength and Conditioning coach for BWC women's Tennis, Softball, and Basketball.   Alie is also a member of the Flex Nimbo research study in the Health & Physical Education Division.  Upon graduation in May '08  she plans to further her education into Graduate School for Exercise Physiology, with a primary focus on Strength and Conditioning....Destination unknown

Ed Trela

Christine Galla is a junior and currently one of the Co-Presidents of the Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Science club here at BW.  She has had experience personal training at BW as well as at a circuit training facility in Broadview Heights.  She plans on obtaining a masters degree in exercise physiology after graduating from BW. 

Alyssa Trampert is a junior, health promotion and education and physical education double major with interests in acquiring a minor in human resources. She is a contributing member of the women's tennis team and the co-president of physical education club, along with sharing her time among other student organizations. Upon graduation, she looks to share her knowledge with children teaching both health and physical education, or enter the corporate health division, helping business professionals make changes toward a healthier lifestyle.

Emily Cook is a senior Athletic Training and Exercise Science major. After graduation she plans to attend Physical Therapy school.

 

Michael Dzigiel is a senior Pre-Physical Therapy major with a minor in Biology.  He is planning to attend PT school in the fall, enjoys outdoor activities, and loves sports (especially the Buckeyes and Browns).

Katie Stiber

Saralyn Weppelman is a senior at BW, majoring in Physical Therapy with a minor in Biology. She will graduate May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a tentative magna cum laude title. She is planning to attend graduate school in the southern United States following her wedding next summer. Saralyn hopes to finish her graduate degree and dive into the medical world immediately.
