Head Coach Denise Roth

Denise Roth, a native of Berea, Ohio and a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, enters her fifth season as head coach for the BW cheerleading program.  Roth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University in 2009 and has been working in the automotive industry as a Quality Engineer since 2010.
Relevant experience in cheerleading includes four-year membership at Berea High School and two-year membership on an all-star competitive cheer team.  Following high school graduation, Roth cheered at West Virginia University prior to transferring to BW.  She joined the Yellow Jacket cheerleading squad for the 2007 and 2008 seasons and while a student at BW, volunteered as an assistant coach for Ultimate Athletics to work with children with special needs.  After graduation, Roth spent two seasons as a professional cheerleader for the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League.
