What is Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC)?

BAC is a measure of the amount of alcohol in the body.  It can be measure directly through blood testing or indirectly by breath, urine or saliva.

In Ohio you are impaired if
-You test at .08
-If you are under 21 and test at .02

Factors that affects individual absorption rates:
-Amount of food in digestive tract and time spent drinking

BAC & Areas of Impairment
-.03 Divided attention, choice reaction time, visual function, tracking and steering, standing steadiness,
        emergency responses
-05  Information processing, judgment, coordination
-08  Concentrated attention, speed control
