CPE Events

0-1-3 Policy

All CARE Organizations support the 0-1-3 policy for responsible drinking:  0=ZERO drinks if under 21, driving, chemically dependent, or on medication; 1=ONE drink an hour if male and over 21 (12 oz. beer, 4 oz. glass of wine, one shot of liquor); for women ONE drink every 1.5 hours if over 21 due to differences in alcohol absorption rates; 3= No more than THREE drinks per day, and/or drink no more than THREE times a week that you drink.


Fall 2008 Schedule

  • CPE Team Meetings
    Anyone from the B-W student body is welcome to join CPE!   Attend one of our meetings to find out how to become more active on campus and in the surrounding community. Great leadership opportunities are available to students wishing to join the executive board. Meetings will be Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. starting September 2nd in Sandstone 1.

  • Dog Days
    September 24th 5-6 p.m.

  • Alcohol Awareness Days
    October 13-16th

  • CPE Training
    October 10th & 11th
    Training is open to any student interested in becoming a nationally certified Peer Educator.  Training is free for B-W students!  The training is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Students must apply for training by the Wednesday at noon before training starts. Training applications can be picked up and dropped off in the "black box" in the Student Life Center (located in the Union). We encourage all students to become trained!

  • BACCHUS General Assembly: Columbus, Ohio
    November 13-16th                                                                                                                                                 Members of CPE can apply to join the delgation for the BACCHUS General Assembly. While attending the conference, members will enjoy speakers, presentations and more about alcohol, drugs and sex responsibility. Members will also have the chance to meet fellow Peer Educators from around the country.  (The conference is only open to members that have applied and been approved to attend).

  • Midnight Breakfast
    December 4th
    End of the semester celebration co-sponsored by Midnight Madness. Join us from 10 p.m. to midnight in the Union ballroom for a hearty breakfast, music, prizes, and games! Take a break from studying for finals to have some fun!
