OutdoorAdventures Program allows you an opportunity to develop a greater appreciation of nature by providing outdoor recreation activities. Trips are offered on a seasonal basis throughout the academic year and are open to all students, faculty and staff. There are annual sailing trips in the Florida Keys, White Water Adventures in the Gully River, ski trips to the slopes in NY and WV, and camping trips throughout the year.
The outdoor program offers activities each term such as:
|
Prior to each event, we post notices and send flyers out with more specific information on the activity, such as date, cost, transportation, etc., throughout the campus community.
Reservations for these scheduled outdoor programs may then be made in person at the Recreation Center office. The program budget provides some monies toward program member trips, making them more affordable for B-W students.
You can pursue your own outdoor pursuits by borrowing outdoor equipment such as: tents, backpacks, lanterns, stoves, cots, mats, masks, fins, snorkels, kayaks, and bicycles.
For more information about the Outdoor Adventures Program, contact Dr. Tim Miller in the Recreation Center office at 826-2286.
| The outdoor adventure club is an extension of our outdoor program and encourages all Baldwin-Wallace students, faculty and staff to participate. |
