eTutoring

Baldwin Wallace University is happy to announce our eTutoring Program.  We are the only private institution in our region that offers this great resource.  Check out the article here.

Tutoring in the Community

The Learning Center provides tutoring for BW undergraduates during the academic year but does not provide tutoring to the community. If you are looking for a BW student to tutor your elementary, junior high or high school student, please contact Career Services to create a job posting specific to your needs. You can reach Career Services by calling (440) 826-2101.

Please click here for information on what to consider before hiring a tutor.

Tutoring Services

Tutorial services are available for undergraduate students at Baldwin Wallace University in most subject areas.  There is not an additional fee, as the cost is included in your tuition.

The Learning Center's peer tutors are recommended by BW faculty and have received an A or B in the course(s) for which they provide tutoring.  Our tutors participate in a rigorous training program to ensure consistent quality service for BW's undergraduate students.

We offer the following tutoring services:

Individual Tutoring:
Individual tutors are available in most subjects.  For a detailed list and to schedule an appointment, visit the BW SMART tab on Blackboard and click "Book Your Appointment Now."  Please be sure to review our policies and procedures before booking an appointment.  Individual appointments begin the second week of each semester.

Drop-in Tutoring: We provide drop-in tutoring for Math, Chemistry, Business, Physics, English and Music (during Fall Follies only).  Please visit the BW SMART tab on Blackboard for the schedule.  Drop-in tutoring begins the second week of each semester.
